About
I am a postdoctoral
Humboldt Research Fellow based at the
Institute of Algebraic Geometry within
Leibniz Universität Hannover.
Geometry fascinates me, with algebraic methods my preferred means of
exploration. In particular, I think a lot about rational curves,
rationality problems, and geometry in positive characteristic.
Current projects
During the summer of 2025, I am:
- thinking about unirationality of complete intersections. Things get fun
in positive characteristic: see the new paper, and
older work on \(q\)-bic hypersurfaces, featuring in
this and this paper
and also the talk.
- thinking about derived categories of quadric bundles with
Noah Olander!
- thinking about Prym varieties and cubic fourfolds in characteristic \(2\)
with Gebhard Martin and
Dominique Mattei.
