About

I am a collaborateur scientifique with the Chair of Algebraic Geometry at the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne. Geometry fascinates me, with algebraic methods my preferred means of exploration. In particular, I think a lot about rational curves, rationality problems, and geometry in positive characteristic.

Previously, I spent time at the Institute of Algebraic Geometry within Leibniz Universität Hannover as a postdoctoral Humboldt Research Fellow. Before that, I was a graduate student at Columbia University where I had the privilege and pleasure to converse regularly with Aise Johan de Jong.
